- Increase fiber intake gradually — isabgol (psyllium husk) is excellent
- Drink at least 2-3 liters of water daily
- Include papaya, prunes, and warm water with lemon in your diet
- Light walking after meals helps stimulate bowel movements
- Avoid processed and refined foods
When to See a Doctor
See your doctor if constipation lasts more than a week, causes severe abdominal pain, or you notice blood in your stool.
