Management Tips

  • Increase fiber intake gradually — isabgol (psyllium husk) is excellent
  • Drink at least 2-3 liters of water daily
  • Include papaya, prunes, and warm water with lemon in your diet
  • Light walking after meals helps stimulate bowel movements
  • Avoid processed and refined foods

When to See a Doctor

See your doctor if constipation lasts more than a week, causes severe abdominal pain, or you notice blood in your stool.
